Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensuring that engineering duties are fulfilled according to the contract and within the schedule, as well within the budget and fulfilling the quality requirements
- Solving any engineering issue
- Ensuring the overall concept of the Power Plant to be delivered, applicable also to consortium partners scope
- Prepare reports on the progress
- Act as a focal point, address and effectively coordinate the technical issues / comments from/to customer and from/to consortium to/from correct discipline Chief Project engineers
- Follow-up and track consortium progress
- As a representative of Consortium leader keep track, record and prepare progress follow-up
- All interfaces between disciplines are managed and controlled, applicable to the entire project
- Engineering Manager duties will be extended to Site Engineering Manager duties
- Reporting to Project Manager of the Consortium
- Work is mainly in Italy (other locations can be considered)
Requirements:
- Engineering graduation
- Min. 5 years experience in the field of same kind of tasks
- Fluent in Italy and English
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to travel
- Experience of working within a multi-discipline project
- Ability to supervise the work of others
- Problem-solving skills and initiative way of working
- Willing to work in a challenging environment, with time pressure
