Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Installation supervision and inspection: piping, welding, supporting, steel structures, units, etc.
- Evaluate of the Piping isometrics design and needed corrections.
- Check and verify perfect implementation of procedures, specifications and quality requirements.
- Follow up that welding procedures and NDT tests are performed as per inspection and test plan and report accordingly.
- Give technical advice if needed.
- Ensure that the HSE (Health, safety and environmental) regulations are followed.
- Supervise and follow the work of the contractors.
- Follow-up of time schedules and reporting.
- Attending to meetings, briefing, planning, project meetings and safety meetings.
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering graduation.
- Piping supervision experience from the field of boiler plants, marine, pulp and paper and/or other industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of welding methods and materials. IWS, IWE, IWI-C certificates can be seen as a benefit.
- Knowledge and understanding of related 3D programs.
- Knowledge of piping systems, piping installation supervision, troubleshooting, testing, analyzing information, reporting skills and negotiation skills.
- Production of piping quality documentation.
- Ability to supervise the work of others.
- Good team worker, thus ability to work independently.
- Problem-solving skills and initiative way of working.
- Willing to work in a challenging environment, with time pressure.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Result driven and responsible.
- Willingness to travel and work at the site environment.
