Tekniq started to have regular Safety Weeks

Safety

Safety is Tekniq’s first priority. Safety topic is visible in our company in many ways as most of our employees are working at construction sites under high risk for accidents. It all begins from briefings with instructions and training for a new Employee. HSE training continues at sites. Furthermore, our safety committee have meetings to develop high class work safety.

Recently we started to have regular Safety Weeks in our intranet for our Employees. During the weeks we give and repeat some HSE Guidelines. The first safety week consisted of for example following issues:

  • Working safely at heights
  • How to prevent slips, trips and falls
  • Emergency preparedness
  • How to report a safety issue
  • Hazardous chemicals and hot work
  • PPE requirements

In general, it’s good to remember that all accidents are preventable.
